Sanvedana Foundation is a charitable trust, founded in February 2004, and is working for the people suffering with epilepsy.

Epilepsy is a Neurological disorder, which is treatable and controllable. However, there are still so many misunderstandings about Epilepsy in India. People are still not aware what to do and what NOT to do, if someone would get an epileptic seizure. People still do not believe that a PWE (person with epilepsy) can lead a normal life with the help of medication. Because of so many misunderstandings, people try to hide their epilepsy while taking admission in the school, while arranging the marriage, while joining any company as an employee, etc. Because of this, they have to face several problems.
We are an NGO who are working for the betterment of people who are suffering from EPILEPSY. We mainly support people with low income groups. There by helping them to lead a normal and stress free life. Activities from the inception in 2004 till date are: Epilepsy support group meetings, Epilepsy Counselling Centre, Epilepsy Marriage Bureau, Epilepsy Awareness Programs, and Medicine and Surgical Help for the needy people with epilepsy. We also do advocacy for the people with epilepsy.
